One of my favorite things to find at estate sales are are old books... I love everything about them....the way they smell, the way they feel, the different typesetting, the illustrations, notes from previous owners....even seeing the type of collection that one person may have acquired....Books say a lot about their owners.

oks, books with beautiful covers, books with wonderful stories...... So imagine how excited I was when I opened a Christmas gift from a friend and discovered a beautiful vintage book which was a bound compilation of "Ladies' Companion" from 1857. I gave quite a few books as presents this year and even snuck a few in for myself (I'm hoping no one in my home will notice....since books are already piled up everywhere!).
I've decided I definitely have book love...
